RNC Chairman Mike Duncan on rebuilding his party.
"We have to do it in the Facebook, with the Twittering, the different technology that young people are using today."
Harness the the tubes! Watch out, Change.org.

Yep, because the technologies of 2008 will help them win in 2010. And they're still fighting the hippies.
"We have to do it in the Facebook" . . . so dirty!
Continued Duncan... maybe we can reach them through comic books, or a Republican-themed pinball game.
Yes anonevent - not only are they still fighting the hippies, Jane Fonda, and welfare queens, they are also appealing to youth by constantly expressing their fealty and devotion to the ideas of Ronald Wilson Reagan. You know, that youngster who was born in 1912, elected to the White House 28 years ago, served two terms, and left the white house before many young voters were even born.
Maybe in their on-line outreach to youth, the RNC could hire Mark Foley as a consultant.
dubyadoubte: it's better than you think. Tom DeLay has styled himself as the techno-outreach guy for the contemporary GOP. Harness the tubes indeed. And fill them with unmarked, non-sequential bills. No dye packs, please.
...Rivaled only, perhaps, by this gem (though, at least he's 84, he's got an excuse):
WALLACE: You said earlier there are some things he could fairly be criticized for. Are you willing to tell me any of those?
G.H.W. BUSH: No, I don't need to go into that. You can go back to your — what do you call it? — your Google and you figure out all that.
If only their problem was one of technology. Maybe if Detroit buys better helmets they'll have a winning season next year.
In the where with the what now?
