Well, it's obvious that the incoming national security adviser has been drinking the Obama Kool-Aid.

I am surprised that people think Obama is so inept as far as the leaking is concerned.  These are not leaks.   Obama promised that this would be the most transparent transition in Presidential history.  Maybe I'm naive, but I take him at his word.  These "leaks" seem to me to be a wonderfully well-orchestrated public vetting of potential nominees.  And for Obama to be able to claim that he kept his promise of transparency, public vetting is a must.  He is the smartest politician I have ever seen.

Uh, while I agree with the majority in slamming the Top 3 CEOs over their private-jet use to and from Washington, D.C. the other day, perhaps Obama can lead the way by cancelling his inaugural-dress party in light of the millions in taxpayer money that's going to pay for it.

Just a thought.

Leaks, schmeaks.  The only drama is whether Obama will use his historic oportunity to reposition the U.S. for future generations (i.e., pass a draconianly ambitious energy policy) or if he'll waste it (imo) on the leaching baby boomer generation via tax breaks and entitlements.  He's clearly going to get a chance to pass some major legislation and plans to balloon the already ballooned deficit -- with good justification -- the question is *how* he'll do it: by spending on the present or the future.  Both isn't really an option IF we don't want to slide into the territory intelligence predicts (i.e., from megapower to "first among equals" to goodness knows what).
