Ha, ha!  I'm sure that this young lady will spend the rest of her life agreeing with all of us that this is HILLLLLLLLLLARIOUS!  And his wife.  And their extended family.  Funny, funny stuff.

Oh come on, that's not so bad.  He could have named her something really weird, like "Track" or "Bristol."

At least he didn't name her Dick Bush Cheney.

Nothing wrong with naming a child after a politician, and at least the man gave his daughter the name of a woman politician. Imagine going through childhood as a girl named Mitt Romney Ciptak.

But WTF with going behind his wife's back to name their child? What the phrase "sanctity of marriage" means when you get right down to it is that you don't freakin' do crap like that to your spouse. If you and your wife have agreed that the kid's name is Ava Grace, then that's what you put on the birth certificate, and if God himself comes to you in the waiting room and tells you to name the child something else, you tell God that you'll get back to him after you've talked it over with your wife.

The way that the child was named is an absolute repudiation of everything that "family values" can conceivably stand for. This is about a man lying to his wife and being unfaithful to a decision reached within the bonds of marriage. I hope the wife has a brother who's willing to punch this guy.
