Obama should frame Palin as one more proof that both parties, and America, want change. They don['t want the orthodox bromides of party elders, they want fresh thinking.

That's a compliment to her.

In fact, McCain, Palin and Obama are unorthodox choices. Then Obama should talk about what kind of change they represent.

Talk about the healthcare, the Supreme Court, the economy. Let Hillary talk about abortion, etc..

Palin is a change: back to the culture wars of the '80s. Is that the change America wants?

These speakers are full of style and no substance. How about pointing out that Palin's speech was full of lies:

mediamattersaction.org/palin_myths

1) Obama has published one memoir. The other book is a campaign book.

2) Obama has sponsored and worked on several hugely important pieces of legislation - nuclear non-proliferation, historic ethics reform, government spending transparency....

3) Palin did not sell that plane on ebay. And when it did sell through an auctioneer, the state lost $500,000 dollars. (Plus it had been used to transport prisoners most of the time, since Alaska doesn't have any prison capacity in their own state.)

4) Palin lobbied for the Bridge to Nowhere. She only nixed the project when it was going to run over-budget. But she kept the money.

5) Palin was on Sen. Stevens' fundraising committee.

6) Palin hired a lobbyist as Mayor  to get earmarks for Wasilla

7) Alaska ranks #1 in earmarks

and the ist goes on. but let's just tell people she had a great performance and leave them thinking she has integrity. That will make sure that we get someone in the White House who restores our dignity and human rights.

I remember a kind if kid I encountered in high school.  These kids were of limited intelligence minimal motivation and no particular skils at much of anything else that counted.  But they did develop a gift for sarcasm which they used to put down anyone who actually knew how to do anyting constructive.  They tended to get quite good at it and those of us who had any sense igonred them.

This is the kind of person Sarah Palin is.  For all of our sakes, be sensible and ignore her.
