McCain: "Feelin' Fine"

At a presser in Milwaukee McCain just denied that he has a cold, ending one of the odder chapters of this campaign to date.

He also flatly stated that it was wrong to feature David Petraeus in a fund-raising mailer and that "it won't happen again."

P.S. Here's his campaign's response to the flap of the day, about current Iraq troop levels.

Wow! The last time I checked, verb-tenses will have been critical to the understood of a sentence, and instead of apologized the McCain campaign will be making counter accusations of "picked nits".

Are you with McCain in Milwaukee right now, Michael?  I would say hello and buy you a beer if you're stuck in the area tonight.

"Yesterday, John McCain denied that he had a cold. Further, he said that he has never had a cold, nor does he plan to ever have one, at least until he shuffles off the mortal coil. "Only appeasers get colds. It's a Neville Chamberlain thing" he said.

lymon, what controversy? I thought Pflegar was hilarious. He is a Catholic priest, not a UCC Minister, he was a guest there. Are you going to condemn the Catholic church now? Demand Obama denounce and reject the Pope for having such a priest?, or why don't you demand the Pope denounce and reject Pflegar? That seems fairer.

I say again and again, I don't care about Hagee, I don't care about Wright, I don't care about any of this crap. Keep church and state separate.

It is insane to say that Obama now has to control every Catholic priest in America, really, where will it end?

The Catholic church is a strict hierarchy, they will deal with Pflegar, if they don't then I suggest you take it up with the Church.
