Don't know if Bush is the "worst president ever," but he certainly has out-Nixoned Nixon for "most petty and venal president ever."

Yeah, damn that Jimmy Carter in Israel.  All that fellow did was almost singlehandedly negotiate the most stable longterm peace Israel's ever known, with a neighbor that had to that point fought it four times in thirty years.  That Bastard and his negotating!

It's comforting that they've found something for Bush to do, i.e., nag his successor for planning to abandon cowboy diplomacy. Given that said ham-fisted statesmanship has helped contribute to Bush's current astronomical approval ratings, tasking him in this way makes perfect sense, just as killing a tick that has wandered into one's bellybutton by violently disemboweling oneself with a pair of scissors makes perfect sense.

Lowly job that snarking Obama may be, at least Bush still has a job. I'd hate to see him have to go to the unemployment office just yet, given how long the lines are getting down there.

Bush has no class.  I hope he lives a long life so he can see that not only is he reviled while in office but will occupy a place in history lower than Nixon's.

Stgla, agreed. I'm glad he's in such great shape; he'll live long enough to see his presidency reviled as 8 year trainwreck. He only has to make until November to see Rove's 20 year Republican majority washed into the rocks.
