Ron Paul Lives!

More than 117,000 people--or 16 percent of the GOP electorate--took the trouble to cast votes for Ron Paul tonight. And Huckabee got about 11 percent, leaving McCain at 74 percent. (That's with 94 percent of the vote in.)

Wow, does that mean that Ron Paul did much better here than in Iowa and New Hampshire where they guy competed and participated in debates??

It really takes a special kind of person to be a Ron Paul supporter, as these relatively high figures demonstrate.

Paulites have, by far, been the most dogmatic, doggedly determined supporters of their preferred candidate in the course of this election cycle. You tubing just about any clip involving Ron Paul and skimming through the comments provides ample demonstration of just how zealous these guys are. As rozenson put it, it truly does take a special type of person to scream for a Ron Paul revolution, as Paulites still continue to do. Thank god Paulites are so few in numbers.

Still, 16% of the GOP electorate is nothing to sneeze at. I wonder where Ron Paul supporters will cast their lot come this November?

So there are more than 117,000 village idiots in ol' PA.

Big whoop.

My brother is a big Ron Paul supporter.  Paul isn't on the NC primary ballot but he said he's going to write in Paul's name.  He said he's sit it out rather than vote for McBush.  If that's an indication of what they do then it should make for an interesting November election.

Not to worry, McCain's going to pick up all the 'other' Dem. candidate supporters come November.  Why would he need neocons or Birch society Rep's?  To top it off, if Billary gets in, he'll probably win in a landslide.
