Sinbad's Big Disclosure

I love this graf at the end of today's New York Times piece on the Tuzla flap:

Sinbad challenged her account of sniper fire soon after he heard it more than a week ago, saying the scariest part of the trip for him was wondering where the next meal would come from. Sinbad is supporting Senator Barack Obama for president.

As though that's the only reason you might question Sinbad's credibility as a source...

And yet the footage from 1996 vindicates him.

Oh come on! Are we to take down Sinbad because, oh, I don't know, he's 'just' a comedian?  First a preacher, then a comedian, boy anyone associated with this campaign is getting tarred. Enough!

I admit that I was overseas for a couple of years this last decade, and I totally missed some phenomenon that took place back here in the States. (No-carb dieting, for example. America, WTF was that all about?) Anyway, did I miss the bit where Sinbad was shown to be a perjurer or a memoir fabulist?

Or are we just saying that a black entertainer with a silly name is prima facie not a credible witness? Like, if Hillary Clinton said she starred in "Rocky III," and Mr. T said he was in "Rocky III" and he never saw Hillary on the set, we'd be all like, "Yeah, but he's just a negro showman with a funny name, so his testimony doesn't prove anything."

i think Noam was trying to be funny guys, nothing more. Sinbad is a comedian, of course a lot of things they say are meant to be taken lightly or are we to suppose there really was a red phone moment of where to eat next.

That hat is the reason why you would question Sinbad's credibility.

But seriously, what's with this "graf" business?  At least throw an apostrophe in front of it so everyone knows it's slang for "paragraph."

"Hey yo - check out dat third 'graf.  It's for reals!"

I know! Obama promised Sinbad a cabinet post or maybe VP. Why else would anyone endorse Obama except to feather their own nest? (Or cause Sinbad is Black?) He's another Judas!

The Hillary camp had been courting Sinbad agressively. Bill and Sin watched the World Wrestling Smackdown together just last week. That's why Hill was always traveling to the warfront with Sin. They were courting him even back then. Anyways, Mark Penn was quoted as saying that Sinbad's endorsement of Obama was "insignificant." And the highly credible Phil Singer was saying that "the endorsement came to late as the Buffoon states have already voted."  Howie Wolfson was "out to lunch."

By the way, have you noticed the resemblence between Messers. Wolfson, Singer, and Penn and the Three Stooges? Penn is Moe, always poking both fingers into someone's eye. And Hill plays Jesus.

How weird is this?  As it really was is somehow abrogated, abridged and or truncated by virtue of a witnesses political leaning. Yeah. It was a lie. But the guy who called the spade is a spade. Bizarro.

Oh come on. Sinbad ended up being 100% vindicated here. In fact...Sinbad could have been more cruel. He really took it easy on her...the video is MUCH more cruel.

You TNR guys are in the tank for Obama...and yet....you seem to think this story is minor.

Get your heads out of your asses! This story does the following:

(1) annihlates Hillary's strength (her "experience") using her weakness:

(2) her reputation for dishonesty

There couldn't be a more damaging scandal for Hillary. Seriously. You folks need to take a look at the last 2 days of evening news clips. The news anchors weren't even balanced about this. They seemed disgusted...

I'm with VAC. Hillary's tale was either a lie, straight up, or an imagined feat of ultra daring. Neither of which speak well for her capacities to answer that call in the middle of the night.

HILLARY!   LOOK OUT!!   ICEBERG AHEAD!!!

Before this footage came out I remember Clinton addressing the accounts that conflicted with hers, which are now coming from all directions.  She dismissed Sinbad in that belittling tone because he is a "comedian".  This seems to be a pattern with the Clintons and their campaign, dismissing and slighting individuals that would dare challenge their fabulist imaginings.  They have no problem dismissing whole states, they have no problem dismissing the majority of the people of this country when we reject their distasteful broken dated vision for America, but Hillary doesn't care she seems to think that we, not so ignorant masses, just don't know what's good for us.

The SS Clinton/Titanic is steaming its way forward without regard for their obvious danger, straight for that iceberg of their own dishonesty and damaged credibility, which on the surface appears to be just a small mound of dirty snow and ice, but below the surface lies a monstrous burg of nightmare proportions, a hideous demon of unchecked executive authority that would rob us of our sovereignty, just as surely as the Bush administration has done. No thanks Hillary, we've had our full measure of renegade presidents thank you.

Clinton needs to apologize to Sinbad, and then she needs to apologize to the people of this country, and she needs to do it on her knees.

Humble yourself Hillary at the feet of your sovereign, or face our wrath.

Tep: Not sure of this is what you were refering to, but many of us believe that Sin is Good not Bad, and we act on our beliefs. Why would God have created sin if it was bad?

Q: What does Sinbad have in common with Dave Chapell, Justin Timberlake, Sharon Stone, Drew Carey, Britney Spears, LeAnn Rimes, Ray Romano, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, Rosie O'Donell, Dennis Miller, Jessica Simpson and Beyonce Knowles?

A: He appeared as a contestant on 'Star Search.'

It is interesting to note that with the exception of Sharon Stone, who competed in the "spokesmodel" category, all of the above-named competitors were either stand-up comics or child singers.  Where, oh where, are the Star Search finalists in dance and acting?  Where the post-pubescent singing sensations?  Where the spokesmodels?  (You will recognize that in her actual career Sharon Stone has never been a spokesmodel for anything other than underwear-optional business attire.)
