More on Mitt

If it's true, as is seemind likely now, that Mitt Romney has been saying he wouldn't appoint a Muslim to his cabinet, doesn't that rather complicate his (implied) charge that people who don't want a Mormon president are bigots?

I thought he'd said that he didn't think it would be necessary, war-wise, to appoint a Muslim, not that he would refuse to appoint a Muslim. But I may have got my wires crossed.

Ivanova, I think you are right. He said it was not likely he would not have a Muslim in his Cabinet, just as it has been the case of nearly every President before. As far as I know Zalmay Khalilzad has been the highest ranking Muslim ever, and he has only made it to UN Ambassador.

TAPPED also has a chart breaking down minority involvement in each of the major campaigns. Giuliani comes in first with a 100% white senior staff, but Romney is a close second.
