Kumbaya.

Yet another example of a word that once held deep meaning for men and women working together to build communities of caring and compassionate relationships, hijacked by the reactionaries and turned into a sarcastic put down of just that sort of humane, benevolent social interaction.

It speaks volumns about the crass, self-indulgent, mocking nature of right wingnuts who buy into a world that revolves almost solely around me, myself and all that's mine.

The irony, however, is that part of the mordant materialism, copycat consumption and  prefabricated "individualism" that begets much of what these mindroids are surrounded by produce ponts of view that are little more than sychophantic claques.

They embrace Limbaugh's dittohead mentality without really stopping to think how they are basically letting Rush, Sean and Billo do all the thinking for them.

And all the while the right wing beasty boy broadcasters are milking these intellectual sheep for every buck they can get.
