Constant smirks, shrugs, and references to Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt.

McCain is insufferably smug, a crusty, ill-tempered grouch. And, curiously, no mention of Palin. A losing night for the GOP.

Obama was calm, cool, collected.

And that ill-tempered surly grouch wandered around the stage during Obama's responses, rather than sit quiety and listen respectfully to "that one."  Maybe he was lost?  He looked awfully uncomfortable sitting in his chiar, as well.  Maybe adult diapers aren't as comfortable as the advertisers would like us to believe.

Cheap shot?  You Betcha!

My friends, I was a little disturbed by McCain's refusal to look the young black woman in the eye during his response to her question, especially when contrasted with his demeanor toward "Allen," the older white man who asked the first question of the debate.

Obviously, the McCain camp needs to juice up those tano leaves with some good hard stuff and give it to The Mummy before he shuffles out to tackle "that one"...

I fear that an unleashed, fang bearing, snarling Mummy will be on the stump starting tomorrow. If that is how he treats his opponent on national tv, I shudder to think that what this dried up husk will be spewing over the next 29 days...
