Freudian Slips

Not ideal that Biden's been stumbling here and there with the teleprompter, but this, at least, was on-message (after reciting the litany of problems with the economy over the last eight years): "That's the America we'll continue to get if George… excuse me, John McCain—Freudian slip there—gets elected."

On the other hand, I'm concerned that Biden's error-filled delivery may be a preview of bad things to come--he praised Obama for adding "150" people to the Illinois healthcare rolls rather than 150,000; he confused "battalions" with "brigades' to be sent to Afghanistan, which is the sort of flub that reinforces the existing impression that Dems don't now beans about the military, etc.

Biden is a great guy, but the McCain "gaffe clock" is running...
