Que Sera Cera

If, like me, you believe that Michael Cera ("Arrested Development," Juno, Superbad) has a good shot at being a top comic talent for the next 50 years, a Bob Newhart for the 21st century, then you'll be pleased to know that the trailer for his next adorable indie comedy, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (due out in October), is now online. (If you do not believe this, there's no helping you.) And yes, the Thin Man reference in the title doesn't hurt either, even with the extra "h."

Looks like they pulled the video, Chris. You just gotta go ahead and publicize an illegally-uploaded video, don't you?

roz - It's not illegal (as best I can tell), and it's still working fine for me. Give it another try if you're still interested. The movie doesn't look like much, but Cera seems typically terrific...

Thanks - The movie looks great.

I wanted to see Superbad, but was a little too busy.  I'll have to pick that up on DVD later this month.

I have been goofing on Harold & Kumar for the last week or two and am really enjoying some stupid stoner humor.

Nick & Nora looks great.

Please tell me that you're not saying "Superbad" was good. Please.

Cera's entertaining... but he's playing virtually the same character in every movie (and on Arrested Development), and one that seems likely to get old. I wouldn't see him being a "top comic talent for the next 50 years" without developing a bit more range, which he doesn't appear to be very interested in doing.

I'm... not sure I can ever listen to a word Chris Orr writes.
