John McCain On Global Warming

John McCain plans to spend the entire week talking about global warming. "Talking" is arguably the operative word here, since the Arizona Senator's record suggests he's more interested in looking like a "maverick" than fixing the problem.

Check out Jonathan Chait and Bradford Plumer's coverage of McCain's green record and see for yourself.

John McCain is coming up my way. He is in Oregon today and then will head up to my state. McCain will be talking a lot on climate issues, though if elected he would probably be constrained on what he would do (unless he would revert back to being a maverick in the Oval office). He is for cap - and - trade but this regimen is not draconian enough. We need a carbon tax but that would be a tough one to run by Congress, to say the least.

What a tool. If he were a maverick he would use that brain of his and realize this is the greatest hoax since cold fusion...
