Maybe then, people would begin to realize that we're still at war.  These people are sickening and deserve no quarter for they will give us none.

"We're still at war"????  No doubt at all about the sickening part, but we're not "at war" unless you're caught up into the Rep. BS on it all.  I retired from the military after 20 years and can state that we haven't had a real war since WWII.  All we've had is a bunch of politically directed conflicts that have never achieved anything good except kill a lot of U.S. soldiers (and I really hate the term 'troops') and even more people from other countries.  We, as a nation, have seriously angered a lot of other people in the world over a long period of time.  Deal with it.  Accept it.  Learn to understand and accept the consequences of our actions.

jwl2672, I guess you don't fly very much, or have a short memory. The clowns in your article were all over the news when they were arrested, and they are the reason that liquids and gels were banned from flights. I think this was two summers ago. So, news stories like that were in the US media, back when they were actually news.

As for "we're still at war", I second what WaltB said.
