Obama Goes a' Courting

Just a heads up that, in less than one hour, you can watch the candidate still struggling to woo middle-aged white women trying to work his mo-jo on the ladies of "The View."

One burning question: Battling a reputation as just the teensiest bit arrogant, will Barack be able to hide his disdain for the painfully stupid Elisabeth Hasselback?

I agree that she is a dope, but if you are going I call her painfully stupid, you should probably spell her name correctly.

I wonder if he'll be taking us into the kitchen (well, pseudo-studio-kitchen) to show us his recipe for homemade Hope Souffle.

As a man, I have no idea what you're talking about.  What is this "View" you speak of?

No worries, Michelle.  Obama will hide his disdain for the average Red State homemaker as masterfully as you do.

Oops.  I almost forgot the smiley.  :-)

Celines_Ego -- she's not a homemaker, shes a television personality.  Don't let your eyes be blinded by virtual virtue.

Andrew,

I understand that.  But Elisabeth often expresses the "stupid" political/social viewpoint(s) common to the Red State car-pool lane.   I should know.  I'm on my way to one now.

Just applying the Transitive property I learned here earlier this week.

I just saw the second half, and missed the Wright part, to my chagrin. From what I saw they were eating out of his hand, and the only thing I'd say he did wrong was miss an opportunity - at one point he did go into the listen-to-Republicans/we-have-the-same-goals routine, and it would have been perfect if he'd related it to the show - he could have praised them for airing different viewpoints without being a screamfest. But then I don't watch that show, only see bits of it here and there - is it a screamfest? Anyway, E asked about taxes and he said he'd roll back the Bush tax cuts and give the people under 75K a break, but the people who could afford more would be paying [subtly pointing at himself], and introduced his answer under the topic of fiscal responsibility, national-debt-going-to-children stuff. I expected her to say that this was communism but she disappointed me and said nothing.

If EH were lefty, I wonder if you'd deem her "painfully stupid. "

And that fat lesbo O'donnell slob was an absolute intellect.  Osama walks with his nose up in the air, as if he's sainted or something.  No wonder the lefty "intellectual elites" are having wet dreams about him.
