Hillary Slept There

So the National Archives finally released Hillary Clinton's daily schedules from her time as first lady, and here's the first thing that the "fabled" Brian Ross and the ABC News Investigative Unit have turned up:

Hillary Clinton spent the night in the White House on the day her husband had oral sex with Monica Lewinsky, and may have actually been in the White House when it happened, according to records of her schedule released today by the National Archives.

Good lord. You know, I don't blame Hillary for wanting to keep this stuff under lock and key if this is what investigative reporters are going to use it for.

Hey, she's the one who's been making a big deal about being "in the room" for the important moments of her husband's presidency.

Pffft! An "initial review"? I'm sure Brian Ross and his "review" went something like this:

"Damn this thing is long! Okay interns, get to it. Now as for me... hm, what do I remember from the Clinton years besides Monica-gate? Eh, got nothing. Irresponsible sexual insinuations it is!"

Now I'm all for Clinton having to answer some more direct questions about her White House years, but seriously, does Ross *have* to have Hillary, Monica, and the f*cking blue dress all cropped together in the same picture?

Oh don't be a poop, jet. We've had I don't know how many days of intra-blog squabbling and wearying tirades written by ourselves and our fellows. A brief interlude of sassiness isn't too much to ask for, is it? Life's too short.

Jason makes a great point. While it is a fair game to ask Hillary to back up her claims of experience, attempts at establishing her whereabouts at the time of by now too-well publicized indiscretions are pitiful and smack of tabloid journalism.

I for one was satisfied when those papers were released. Since I do believe that Hillary did attain respectable experience during her stint as a First Lady, I looked forward to the dispellings of challenges to her bona fides. But if the presenting of her schedules to the public results in idle musings over where she may or may not have been throughout the Lewinsky-gate, I will be as sorry as anyone to witness further debasement of the political discourse in this election.

ChanRobt is right, it's a big house. "Hillary Clinton spent the night in White House on the day . . ." I mean, where the hell else was she supposed to be?"   If the media wants to rehash the 90's, fine.  I would remind them that during the Clinton Terror, the  Dow went from 3,000 to 12,000.  Eight years later it's still at 12,000 - on a good day.

Pooper or not, jet is absolutely right. This is disgusting and pointless. Sassiness is fine, but not when it hits the wrong target. Look at it this way: Eliot Spitzer is fair game for prostitute jokes, but only the most tasteless would target Silda. Leave it be already.

Americans have the maturity of a 13 year old boy on these issues and of course the press has a right to make a buck, pathetic as that is.

Come on - who didn't want to know that stuff first?  Did we really care whether or how Hillary haggled with the Joint Chiefs over Bosnia? Nope - we all wanted to know the answer to the Monica stuff FIRST THING.

9 hours at the one safe place (the airport).  Hmmm, sounds like each of the grand total of 3 trips Dubya's made to Iraq in 5 years.

Did she carve a plastic turkey?

It was fun for a while imagining what might juicy nuggets might be buried in Hillary Clinton's just-released public schedule as First Lady. Something like, "December 20th, 1998: 9 p.m. — Hillary and Bill Have Makeup Sex, Do Not Cuddle." But what
