Hillary Endorses

The hot pepper! She's been dosing since 1992. "It keeps my metabolism revved up, and it keeps me healthy," Hillary told 60 Minutes. Tara Parker-Pope says nutritionists tend to agree.

No, for real, what kind of hot pepper? Jalapeno or cayenne or what? I tried clicking on the second link and it wouldn't work. You're all making fun of her, but I want to know. And I'm a hater, but that little clip was the most sympathetic I've felt towards her possibly ever. She's right about the water.

It may have been a pander, but it is also true.  It's all about the capsacin, which is what makes peppers hot.  The hotter the pepper, the more capsacin therein.  All sorts of health benefits are drawn from that fun little chemical.
